Note to self: You are worthy of Love.
Keep reminding yourself that you are worthy of love. Because you are. You are worthy of that feeling of love, being loved and appreciated for who you are. This is something you cannot take lightly. Every choice you make is from a place of (self) love or hate and has its own consequence.
“Why are people mean to you”, you ask me? “Why is he mean? I do everything for him”… the answer is quite simple
- he doesn’t know what love is and
- you forgot or don’t know that you deserve better.
So I ask you how sweet are you for yourself? How do you protect your self-worth?
When you are raised by parents who didn’t know how to shower you with love and support but instead were very critical on themselves and about the choices you made. You have the concept that that is the way to love. You don’t even know better, because you are following your biggest role model.
When you had a mother who was always thinking about everyone except herself. A mother who didn’t follow her dreams and doubted herself constantly. It is possible you will act the same when you are in a relationship. And there is a big chance that you attract a man that didn’t receive love (hugs, kind words, empowerment) while he was growing up. He is scared of intimacy seeing that as weak and will lack giving you the love you need.
We are here to break cycles, our own cycles but also the cycles of our parents. So that the next generation can be free of this curse of not loving themselves or even worse of hating themselves. And projecting that on to others.
Keep reminding yourself that you are worthy of love. You are good just the way you are. Be kind to yourself, laugh, have fun. Listen to your intuition, reflect on your choices, talk with friends about your personal development and choose happiness in every moment. And most important protect yourself from others and from yourself.
